Fitting fitness in

With the beginning of the new school year, students are finding fitness impossible to squeeze into their already overflowing schedules. Fear not! You are not alone! Everyone has those hectic days, weeks, even months but exercising a little bit a day can be easier than you think. If you don't have a sport you go to after school and you go home or to a club, use these tips to work a workout into your schedule.
1. Keep workout gear at home- for example, a yoga mat, weights, or aerobics ball are all great examples. While working on the computer, instead of sitting in a chair sit on a large aerobics ball. It may not seem like much, but its a few extra calories you're burning
2. Set aside small blocks of time in your agenda for short exercises. For instance, you could do one of the video from Blogilates we post! Some are only three to five minutes long!
3. Turn an ordinary activity into a workout. Ride your bike to the store, run to the lake for your biology project, or vacuum the whole house (yes it actually burns calories)!
4. During commercial breaks, do situps till the end of that car commercial or squats till the insurance company commercial stops
