Healthy snacks to fill you up!
I know you're tempted to scoop out some ice cream or sneak some Oreos in your room while studying but you have to stop! A little habit you can try is to wear a rubber band around your wrist so when you head for the sweet treats you can snap your wrist to remind yourself it isn't worth it. There are so many other snacks to nibble on that aren't only healthy, but fill you up to prevent future snacking! I like to try olives (an acquired taste), small strips of salami or pepperoni, crackers, thin cheese slices, pieces of bread, and hummus. Other snacks include berries (my favorite being the oh so delicious raspberry) celery with peanut butter, saltines, flavored water, skinny cow products, and anything included in our recipe section. Get creative but be healthy! Sometimes when you don't feel hungry enough for a full meal or you've had heavy meals all day, add the snacks together to create a meal like in the picture. That was my family dinner one night and it was so tasty!!!
